
Larkana: Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, visited several villages in Larkana, where he reviewed the progress of the Sindh People’s Housing project aimed at providing homes to flood victims.








Visit to Village Soni Faqirani, Ratto Dero:
Chairman Bilawal visited the village of Soni Faqirani, where 24 out of 32 houses have been constructed for flood-affected families. During the visit, he was briefed on the ongoing efforts by local authorities and the Sindh Rural Support Organization. Bilawal expressed satisfaction with the progress and highlighted that the promise of building houses for flood victims is being actively fulfilled. He also emphasized that the ownership rights granted to four women in the village would enable them to pass down these homes as assets for future generations.
Ownership Rights and Women Empowerment:
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari announced that the process of providing land ownership rights to the residents of the newly built homes would begin after Eid, with a focus on granting rights to women first. The land ownership will ensure that the homes become a lasting resource for flood-affected families.
Visit to Village Allahwariyo Solangi, Naudero:
In a subsequent visit to Allahwariyo Solangi village in Naudero, Chairman Bilawal was briefed that 88 out of 224 homes have been completed. He met with flood-affected women and gathered details regarding their new homes. The Chairman reiterated that the program to provide ownership rights will begin soon after Eid, prioritizing women.
Visit to Village Malok Khuhro, UC Lond:
Chairman Bilawal also visited Malok Khuhro village, where 70 out of 114 homes have been constructed. During this visit, he was informed that the Sindh government is on track to construct a total of 122,500 homes for flood victims across the district. Bilawal acknowledged the efforts of the Sindh Rural Support Organization and other stakeholders involved in the project.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari described the Sindh People’s Housing project as the world’s largest initiative aimed at providing homes to flood victims. He expressed his commitment to ensuring the rapid completion of this vital project, highlighting its importance for the displaced families in Sindh.
