Karachi, October 29, 2025:

The Government of Sindh has opened the Senator Taj Haider Bridge for public use — a major milestone that reflects the Sindh Government’s continued commitment to modern infrastructure, safe mobility, and sustainable urban development.

Developed under the Transport Department, Government of Sindh, as part of the Yellow Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, the Senator Taj Haider Bridge sets new standards for urban connectivity. The bridge features dedicated lanes for public transport and motorcyclists, ensuring safer travel, smoother traffic flow, and greater efficiency — symbolizing a new era of progressive transport solutions in Karachi.

Senior Minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit, Sharjeel Inam Memon, while expressing his satisfaction over the project’s completion, stated:

“The Senator Taj Haider Bridge is a proud achievement for Sindh’s modern transport network. Under the visionary guidance of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party, the Transport Department is transforming Karachi’s mobility landscape. These efforts, he said, are part of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s broader vision to provide equal opportunities and world-class facilities to the people of Sindh.

Officials from the Sindh Mass Transit Authority highlighted that the Senator Taj Haider Bridge will serve as a vital link for commuters along the Yellow Line route, reducing congestion and enhancing accessibility across major city corridors.

With the inauguration of the Senator Taj Haider Bridge, the Sindh Government reaffirms its dedication to progress, innovation, and people-first governance — realizing Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision of a modern, connected, and prosperous Sindh.
